Heimdall’s Haven – Bathroom
What was once a small and outdated bathroom has now been transformed into a modern and harmonious retreat.
The aim was to make the best possible use of the space. This was achieved by integrating a large window for maximum natural light, combined with a mirror that reflects the light and gives the room a greater sense of spaciousness. Furniture with ergonomic forms and rounded edges contributes to a comfortable flow and a sensory experience, where function and aesthetics meet in perfect balance.
natural elegance

The material choices in the bathroom are inspired by the colours and textures found in nature. Tiles in the shower, on the walls, and on the floor evoke associations with natural stone and the forest, while the wooden vanity unit adds warmth and balance. Together, they create a minimalist expression that feels like a natural extension of the outside.
Details with character

In contrast to the calm, nature-inspired tiles, the bathroom is elevated with striking fixtures and gold accents, creating a subtle sense of luxury.
The homeowners’ personality is expressed through a bespoke vanity unit, where a handcrafted porcelain bowl—originally intended as a salad bowl—has been transformed into a unique and personal focal point.
Design that lasts

Inspired by the Norwegian landscape, the rooms are shaped with a Scandinavian spa-like atmosphere at their core, where materials, architecture, and furnishings are thoughtfully aligned to create calm, light, and spaciousness. A perfect setting for wellbeing and quiet luxury.
Delightful transformation

Renders to reality
Renders were a key tool throughout the entire design process – from early decisions on style, materials, and details. Renders made it possible to explore different solutions, adjust proportions, and make confident decisions at an early stage.
The photorealistic visualisations served as a shared visual language between designer, client, and craftsmen, ensuring precise communication of expression, details, and technical solutions. With this level of realism, the bathroom can be experienced before the first tile is even laid – providing predictability and a final result in perfect alignment with the vision.
